Bio

WWF Superstars of Wrestling (later shortened to WWF Superstars) is a professional wrestling television program that was produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE). It debuted on September 6, 1986, as the flagship program of the WWF's syndicated programming.

The show began airing in the UK in 1986 and by the mid-90's was huge. To capitolise on this fame the stars looked to the music business. The third album by WWF Superstars was released in 1993. Mike Stock and Pete Waterman (of Britain's famed Stock Aitken Waterman songwriting team) oversaw the project as producers and co-composers for RCA Records, with British A&R executive Simon Cowell serving as the executive producer. Stars appearing on this album included Bret "Hitman" Hart, The Undertaker, "Macho Man" Randy Savage and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan.

The album failed to chart on the US Billboard 200 but reached #10 in the UK.
